Austin Chase @Wangsa Walk, Wangsa Maju

There are just too many western cafe in Malaysia such as the most famous one will be Starbucks, Dome, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, San Francisco and many more! Today I will bring you to another western cafe which is called Austin Chase.

Once again, we have a special guest today who is my sister, Carmenolica
Signature Black Chocolate @RM13.00++
Outlook: 2/5
Creativity: 2/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - When you named it signature, it just has to be the best drink you have in the store. But it turned up to be a disappointment because it is just the same like an ordinary chocolate drink.

Green Tea Cream @RM15.00
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 3/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 2/5 - They give more whipped cream than stingy Starbucks and Coffee Bean! I love it! However, the price is a little bit too expensive.

Nice closed door for a perfect privacy. They have games available such as Jenga, Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess and many more. Apart of that, the have novels and other reading materials too!
It is a great place for discussion for us. Really quiet and peaceful.
I am just do not understand why do they charged service tax when we have to go to the counter and make the order. Wi-fi is available here with password protected. For this cafe to outclass Starbucks, it has to be unique in their drinks and with more new choices weekly. There are doing quite well with a private room, board games and books. Just need to create more variety in their foods and drinks to attract return customers. Humans just like new things. Don't you think so too?

Total Damage: RM30.80 (2 pax)
Ambiance: 5/5
Service: 3/5
Food Serving Speed: Moderate
Will I Revisit?: Yes, perhaps for another discussion.

  1. Well.. they'll bring you the menu and take your orders if you're seated at your table. This happens at The Gardens branch, at least. That's probably why they are charging service tax. :)

  2. Yes, only if @The Gardens. If you have visited Wangsa Walk before, you will know how the cafe is look like. They can't see you if you are sitting in the private room so they will not able to serve you anymore.
