Lei Cha @Jalan Intan, Kuching

Since we both are from Hakka ethnic, we are so blessed for able to eat Lei Cha which is known to be very famous at Kuching. The interesting part of this Lei Cha is not just that the stall does not have a name but they are not located in a shop! Yup, there are located in a semi-detached house which is located at the corner of Jalan Intan. The patrons here are a lot! Cars are parking all over their front door of their house and their neighbors too. I am so glad for able to spot this place.
Oh ya ya ya...I am sorry to make my sister to hold it for so long. What she is holding is their homemade coconut jelly which is selling at RM2.00/cup. I seriously telling you that this is the most authentic coconut jelly I ever had. It is so perfect to cure our hot sunny day. Before we left Kuching, we bought 2 dozens of them back. LOL.
The normal ingredients to have in the Lui Cha. To those who does not know what Lui Cha is...Lui Cha is a vegetarian dish which mixing all types of vegetables and tofu in it.
Of course with their greenish tea soup to complete this Lui Cha.
Yummy Lui Cha!!! They are selling RM4.00 (small) and RM5.00 (big). Quite expensive for a vegetarian dish but since it is so delicious, every cents spent are worth it.
Their tea soup is authentic made from the tea leaf. No extra coloring is added in it. So the tea soup brings the bitter taste. There are two ways to eat Lui Cha. First, you just eat the rice and soup separately. Second way will be you mix the whole tea soup into your rice. I can assure you that two ways bring you two different types of Lui Cha experience.
When the time we finished our food, they have finished selling their food as well. This place was so crowded at first we reached there and so fast we are the last to leave. Maybe we had a little too chatty with the lady boss. LOL. Anyway, this is a must visit place when you are here at Kuching. Please depend 100% on the location map that I have pinpoint here. It is very accurate and reliable. Trust me! :)
