Brussels Sprouts Two, Playground @Big Splash

The Brussels sprout is a cultivar in the Gemmifera group of cabbages (Brassica oleracea), grown for its edible buds. The leafy green vegetables are typically 2.5–4 cm (0.98–1.6 in) in diameter and look like miniature cabbages. The Brussels sprout has long been popular in Brussels, Belgium, and may have originated there. Oh, sorry that was from the Wikipedia about Brussels sprout but what I am about to share with you is a restaurant which is known as Brussels Sprouts Two.
Since Brussels sprout is popular in Belgium, when a restaurant with a name with it which means they are serving Belgium cuisine. It is located just next to the East Coast Beach and you will get to enjoy the great wind from the beach. When you are in a Belgium restaurant, it is all about beer and mussels!
Stella Artois informally called Stella, is a pilsner beer of between 4.8 and 5.2% ABV. It has been brewed in Leuven, Belgium, since 1926, although it is brewed in other locations as well. A lower alcohol content (4% ABV) version is also sold in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Canada and New Zealand. Stella Artois is one of the prominent brands of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer. That's another pick from Wikipedia to simplify my explanation about this beer to you. It cost you about S$13.50++ for a pint! A Malaysian like me hardly going to get drunk in Singapore when their prices is like this.
Mussels with Mariniere Cream (Mini Bucket - 350gm) with fries @S$20.00++

Price: 3/5
Overall: 4/5 - You are not consider dining in a Belgium restaurant if you do not order their moules & palourde frites. The mussels are small but it does not matter because the broth is so delicious! The broth is made of onion, parsley, butter, celery, leek, white wine and cream. It is so creamy and the best part is the white wine has make the difference in the fragrance and taste. I finished up the whole broth by myself. The fries are delicious too and the best part is...it is refillable for free!!! FYI, they got 12 different both which categorized in 3 different styles which are Clear broth, Cream broth and Asian Broth. I will try all of them one day.

Parmentier de Crabe @S$28.00++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 3/5 - Made of  baked crab meat, zucchini, pea bean and buttered mashed potato on the top of the crab meat. The taste is mediocre because the crab meat tasted a little fishy. Not really recommended. Should have just go for their moules & palourde frites only.

Chocolate Fondant @S$14.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - Molten Belgian chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream with a little cinnamon kick on the ice cream. I love that! In a Belgium restaurant, you won't go wrong if you choose any dessert that is made of chocolate. Everyone knows Belgium is famous for their chocolate. However, I would prefer the chocolate cake to be slightly warmer to give the extra delightful chocolate taste.

Overall, I have to recommend their beer and their mussels! It is a MUST TRY! They do have clams too but always out of stock. Do take note of their mussel promotion which sometimes they have for a great deal. For example, buy 2 main size bucket and get one main size bucket for free. Each main size bucket is weighted 750gm at S$48.00. One thing I would like to comment about their service is regarding to their free fries. They started not making any fries by 8.30pm when they are closing at 11.00pm which is pretty ridiculous. After 8.30pm, they will only served left over fries, cold fries or reheated fries (if you complain). This is some management things that they need to look into. Another thing is their picture shows their mussels' are in big size but actually my thumb is bigger than the mussel.
Total Damage: S$88.85
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 2/5
Food Serving Speed: Moderate
Recommended?: Only their beer and mussel (mussel maybe small)
