Fish Farm Thai Restaurant @Hulu Langat

Now dining in the nature is started to be a trend lately. A lot of restaurants started to build inside the greenery. One of them is Fish Farm Thai Restaurant which is originally just a vegetable farm, fish farm and poultry farm has started to serve food in here as you can see from the picture above. People now just wish to escape away from the busy and polluted city just to have a nice peaceful meal.
All their food resources are mostly from their own. So there is no issue about freshness. This restaurant is a Thai restaurant which is specialized in seafood. Their employees are mostly from Thailand too. It is quite hard to communicate with them when you are trying to ask something else from the menu. I hope the restaurant owner will look into this.
They do have a stage on the water for live band or live performance for special company event. It is really amazing.
Nasi Goreng Ketam (medium) @RM18.00++
Outlook: 2/5

Taste: 1/5
Price: 2/5
Overall: 1/5 - Started off with a disappointing crab fried rice. The rice is almost tasteless and the crab meat is too little to be seen. It is a waste of money to order this.

Tomyam Seafood (Clear Soup) @RM25.00++

Taste: 5/5
Price: 4/5
Overall: 4/5 - This tomyam soup is absolutely delicious. It is quite spicy but the best part is even though it is spicy, you are still addicted to it. You just can't stop scooping for more. The menu stated it can be served up to 5 persons but it is only able to serve for 3 persons only.

Butter Prawn (small) @RM24.00++

Overall: 3/5 - Best way to serve a prawn is butter and second way is steam. The butter is so fragrance which is roaming inside the flesh and it will flow out at the moment you chew on it. Absolutely divine,

Ketam Masak Curry Powder @RM90.00++
Outlook: 3/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - RM45.00/pc and their crab is quite big which is almost 500gm. The curry powder fragrance is strong but it is not spicy. I still prefer butter crab which they doesn't have in their menu.

Tilapia Steam Limau Thai Style @RM30.00++
Outlook: 4/5
Creativity: 4/5
Taste: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Overall: 3/5 - As fresh as you can ever imagine when these fishes are live fishes from the pond and not from small aquarium squeezing each other for spaces. The taste is sourish taste and a little sweetness in it. However, I still prefer Tilapia to be fried instead of steam.

Overall in short, make a point here at least once because you will definitely fell in love with this place. Skip the rice and just have their seafood. The journey to here maybe a little far which took around 20 minutes from the city but it is definitely worth it. Do take note that the small road link from the main road to this restaurant is rocky and dangerous. Please drive slow and safe especially at night. I wish to take some picture of it but too bad that I am driving so I have to pay more attention on the road instead of taking photograph.
Total Damage: RM203.70 for 3 pax
Ambiance: 4/5
Service: 3/5
Food Serving Speed: Fast
Will I Revisit?: Yes
