To be honest, I never visit a restaurant more than one time except Kiraku Japanese Restaurant which I have posted about it the third time now. Please rest assure that this post is going to be different and will definitely excite you. The reason is because Kiraku Japanese restaurant is the only Japanese restaurant providing a very own private teppanyaki room with breath taking performance by the teppanyaki chef. They have 2 large rooms and 6 small rooms available.
The meat that I have ordered on that day is salmon @RM37.00++, chicken @RM28.00++, lamb @RM64.00++, beef and foie gras @RM79.00++. Anything you ordered under their teppanyaki menu session will be cooked in front of you.
Before those meat that I mentioned earlier, we had squid first which cost RM30.00++. Unfortunately, we had a bad start because of this. The squid is too salty to our liking. The only credit I can give is the squid is fresh.
The chef that we have on that day is called Chef Reya. She is one of the cutest chef that I have known so far. She got a great skill and big nice smile. If you would like to meet her, please make sure you do it fast because she is about to leave the restaurant back to her country, Thailand to get married and settle down there.
She got a dedicated heart to present the best meal in front of us. We are truly captivated by her sincerity in serving the best of hers to us. I am truly proud and lucky to have her as our teppanyaki chef on that day.
Just a simple meat that is divided to four of us but they are displayed in a way that makes us wanted to savor it right away. She also provide her very own special made sauce for us to taste. It is really unique and delicious. It has wasabi taste in it and definitely appetizing especially you mixed together with the tasty salmon. The chicken is less impressive because the meat is slightly hard to chew.
I thought the salmon I had earlier was the best but I was wrong after these were up later. They are the beef, foie gras and lamb. Even it is just a small size after divided into 4 of us, the beef is still able to bring out the natural grain fed meat fragrance into your mouth. As for the foie gras, this is the best ever foie gras that I have tasted so far. The foie gras is so soft and it melts gently on my tongue. The best part is it does not carries any weird and unpleasant taste that I usually had in other restaurant. Lastly, the lamb does has a strong gamey taste but that is how I like it to be done.

Pretty amazing eh? Even my goddaughter was impressed and excited by it. She never even blink! All credits go to Chef Reya. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this restaurant just for their teppanyaki. It is truly amazing experience which you will never forget for life. I really hope Kiraku able to maintain this kind of quality forever. I wonder if they able to find a good replacement for the professional Chef Reya. She will definitely will be missed.

Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC. Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds. I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. You can adjust the range of the target to your prefer
What will people think first when we talk about Penang? Penang Hill? Batu Feringghi? Hard Rock Cafe? I doubt any of them come first but their local food! Penang famous with their local foods and that is the reason there are a lot of hawker center at Penang. One of them is at Jalan MacAlister. No name for this hawker center but the local good foods are concentrated here. A lot of hawker stall like this here. There are just too many to choose from. Prawn Mee @RM5.00 Outlook: 3/5 Creativity: 3/5 Taste: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 - As I mentioned in my previous post at Raodifang, I just hate to eat a prawn mee with small prawns in it. Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) - not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. However, it will be definitely worthwhile. RM2.65/pc for this chicken wing. The reason it is taste so good is because of the perfect combination of the honey and the BBQ fragrance. They blend it so well inside the fresh and
Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL. Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. As for the bowling shoes is chargeable at RM2.00 per pax. FYI, the prices not inclusive government tax of 6%. Seriou
Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. To get close and personal with the King of Fruit...the accommodation charges will be Deluxe Villa is charged at RM280/night and standard villa will cost you RM180/night. They only have 1 Deluxe Villa and 2 Standard Villa only. So it is very easy to be fully booked during the durian season. Advance booking is greatly recommended for at least 3 months ahead so that you will be able to choose the right schedule for the durian you wish to taste. Why stay in a durian farm? This is what you see when you open the window with all the durian trees around you. The fre
In Singapore, you will see high class restaurants open their restaurant with Marina Bay Sands view. In KL, it will be the Petronas Twin Tower instead. However, to allow you to dine with the tower so up close and personal to you, it got to be Marini's on 57. Outstanding view which will just leave a memory of a lifetime to you. You are very encouraged to make advanced reservation before visiting unless you are coming here for a common daily dining. This restaurant is located at Tower 3 and the entrance is near where the Chanel shop is. You will see a man with black suit at the entrance to escort you to their lift. Their lift is only going to take you to 57th floor which is where this restaurant is located. If you plan to dine by the window, they do set a minimum spending of RM300++/pax. Do not worry about it because you will easily spent more than that even with just main course and drinks only. This level is divided to two parts which are the restaurant and the bar. So
A lot of hidden good food in Kuchai Lama and one of them is Restoran Goon Wah. For the past 18 years, Restaurant Goon Wah has been delighting locals and foodies alike from its first outlet in Taman Kuchai Lama, with its unique menu, high quality produce and efficient service. Founded by husband and wife team, Mr and Mrs Lee, Restaurant Goon Wah specialises in making its famous XO Claypot Fish Head Noodles, prepared with fish imported from New Zealand. This delicacy, together with Goon Wah’s other delectable original dishes, is guaranteed to bring us unparalleled enjoyment and satisfaction. Established in 1997, Goon Wah has since grown to occupy three shop lots at its original site. Their other branches are at Damansara Jaya and Genting Highland. I was at their main branch which you can see it was already full house by 12.00pm. You are advised to come early to avoid disappointment and also hunting for a parking space. There were some tables are reserved which I believe they do acc
There are two best bak kut teh in Kota Kinabalu that I have known so far. One is known as Yu Kee Bak Kut Teh and the other one is known as Sin Kee Bak Kut Teh. There are just located one street away from each other. However, both of them got the same jam packed customers as you can see from the picture above. You just cannot detect any available seat around. This is how good they are. The one and only chef in action to prepare the whole bak kut teh to all the patrons. The surprising part is the serving speed was extremely fast. Usually when you see so many people, you might think you will need to wait for quite some time but he can make sure you will get your food at the fastest speed. These are the prices after GST is imposed. They do have other dishes to serve too apart of their famous Bak Kut Teh. However, my advice is just stick with their Bak Kut Teh no matter how much the waiter/waitress to push you to order more. The moment you sit down, they will straight aw
Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Sunday is just perfect day at Singapore! Of course, if you plan to eat their buffets, Sunday will be not a suitable day as it will be super expensive. Anyway, today I just want to share one of the tourist attraction in Singapore which is the Merlion Park. I parked at Fullerton Hotel which has ample of parking spaces and it is only S$5.00/entry. The Fullerton Hotel is j
Last year I had a disappointing experience of Sheng Rou Mian at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang so this year I was pretty determined to find a better Sheng Rou Mian for redemption. To my surprise, I was able to find one which is just located few streets away from Kedai Kopi Jia Siang which is known as Kedai Kopi Melanian. By the way, Sheng Rou Mian means raw meat noodle. Do not get panic by thinking that I am introducing you eating a raw pork. The pork is fresh and thinly slice and mix with flour before cook. So to make the texture as if you are having a raw pork. I find that people in Kota Kinabalu always having noodle for their breakfast. A lot of noodle stalls are opened early in the morning. Their noodle is fantastic! The noodle is springy and tangy as if the noodle is jumping inside your mouth. The mixture of the sauces are perfectly done. The noodle alone is already scrumptious. The price of a bowl of Sheng Rou Mian is RM7.50++. This is the Sheng Rou which is so soft and t
