Boxes Cafe, Jalan Imbi

A cafe that is made from three 20' containers is known as Boxes Cafe. It is situated at the land which is well known as the old Pudu Jail. Right now this land is own by Bukit Bintang City Center Kuala Lumpur. Our government's EPF got a big chunk of share on this company.
Their parking is free and it is at the opened parking space which is a little distance from the cafe itself. So the BBCC provides caddy service to customers who either wants to go to their showroom or to the cafe. It is all free of charge for the time being. I am not sure if is still free after their sales office building is built.
Having a cup of coffee on an empty land looking towards the busy street and rising buildings is certainly is another kind of relaxation. You seems like telling yourself that you are enjoying chilling out while others are busy with their tasks.
One of the container is more for patron who are dining here with all glasses around but outsiders unable to see inside on the broad daylight. It is well tinted with heat reflective element on it.
This is my favourite side where they have a sofa and bean bags for you to lie down and read your favourite book.
This side is even cooler where you get to sit on the swing while eating or having a cup of coffee. I would never know a container can be filled with such an amazing decoration in it.
It is a definitely a great place to hang out with a cup of cafe latte beside you. I never felt so comfortable in a container type of cafe before until I am at Boxes Cafe.
Their signature drink is their Ang Mo "Kat Chai" @RM8.90++ and Lemongrass Sours @RM11.90++. A sourish drink to open your appetite of the day.

Overall: 3/5 - Strong fragrance of curry leaves and delicious curry taste is definitely captivated me starts from the first bite till the very end. The fusion of eastern curry spices in a western pasta is truly awesome. The prawn is fresh and tangy too. It is not a bad dish but just that a little dry in the end.

Overall: 3/5 - Another fusion of eastern chicken percik in Malay style sandwiched between the charcoal made burger. It is so juicy and it does really squirt and drip all around your plate. It is a savoury taste of burger which you will fall in love with it at the very first bite.

Overall, I had a great experience having my lunch at Boxes Cafe. I would definitely come back for more. Too bad the location is at a really heavy traffic area. It is really a nuisance when you have to fight your way through the traffic jam just to reach the cafe and thinking how to get out of it later when you want to leave the place.
