Le Pont Boulangerie, Sri Petaling

Once again, it is my date with my god daughter with her family. I have chosen Le Pont Boulangerie because the restaurant is big and spacious for these two little cuties to run about. This is their second branch in Klang Valley area. Their first branch is at Old Klang Road.
On the ground floor, they have a selection of bread and pastries. You can order some desserts here to dine in too. 
At the first floor, it is solely for their diners. They have a hanging bridge look alike in the middle of the restaurant. Le Pont means "The Bridge" in French. So this bridge is their icon. As I have mentioned earlier, their space is spacious and the design is exquisite too. My son can't sit at all when he was here.
Rose Latte @RM11.79 - Normal latte with rose syrup. Not bad for those who can't really accept bitterness in a coffee.
Cold Brew with Milk @RM13.11 - Fancy but it is not much difference than an iced coffee.
Le Pont Signature Coffee @RM15.57 - Another fancy coffee selection. If you like orange taste in your coffee, this is it.
Strawberry Symphony @RM15.57 - Among all the drinks we have ordered that day. This was the best and most delightful drink of all. Sweet and a little sour to activate your appetite.

Overall: 3/5 - Creamy smooth texture mixing with the succulent fresh mussel is truly satisfying. However, they are too stingy with the gravy. They should have the gravy covered the whole bowl of mussels.

Overall: 2/5 - It is best to dip the duck meat with the sauce to eat. If the duck meat is made softer would be perfect.

Overall: 2/5 - The chicken meat slightly too salty for me while the crust is like chewing on a crispy flour. I would expect more cheese sauce to make the whole dish not too dry.

Overall: 3/5 - Slightly sweet but it is still acceptable if you had it together with the delicious piece of biscotti. The mild pistachio taste is vividly pleasuring your taste bud.

Overall: 3/5 - The apple is too sourish even though the fresh cream and homemade ice cream did help to neutralize the taste but it beat the purpose of having the apple tart at the first place as the apple taste is no longer there.

Overall, it is a fancy restaurant for nice gathering and catch up with attractive desserts and drinks to accompany. As for their food, it is not all impressive enough to make an effort to travel all the way here and hunting for a parking space for it.

Sports Shooting Club Hatyai (SSC)

Most of people think if you travel to Hatyai and not visiting their temples, you are just wasting your time at Hatyai. As for my personal opinion, if you come to Hatyai and did not go to Sports Shooting Club (SSC) Hatyai to experience the shooting experience with a real gun, I think you are not just wasting your time at Hatyai but you are wasting your time being a human. You only live once and there is no better way to understand these guns than coming over to SSC.   Their gun selections are enough to satisfy your urge. From rifle, pistols, revolvers to shotguns. You would be surprised that their rifle is the cheapest. The price is stated from 890 baht nett for a 15 rounds.  I have tried the rifle, beretta and this Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP. This 45 is my favorite among all with 50m shooting range and 8+1 capacity. One of the most expensive gun to rent here. Basically you are shooting at the target paper like this. Champ's Bowling Centre, Sandakan

Not really much entertainment in Sandakan even though they are just beside the sea. No nice beach for water activities and the nearest island like Pulau Selingan and Turtle Island are about 90 minutes away. As for the town itself, basically is this bowling centre called Champ's which has a very nice and good condition bowling alley, bowling shoes and bowling bowls if to compare with bowling centres like in KL.  Not very big at all for their bowling centre which only has 12 lanes. Their shoes look so new! Here is a demonstration on how to bowl. Looks pro...I wonder how is the end result. So what do guys think? Is it a strike? They have a lounge here as well. And a cafe too! The price of the bowling is cost at RM4.80 per game per pax. We went at their most peak hours so their price basically has not much different than our KL City price. Have you ever stay in a Durian Farm before? No? At Bao Sheng Durian Farm, you can do it! This 6.7 acres durian farm has been established in Balik Pulau since 1959. It really took them full 60 years to get the fruit of their hard work. Their villa is well equipped with air-con, hot shower and LCD TV with hundreds of Blu-Ray quality movies in it! They have existing queen size or king size bed and extra bed can be requested. To get close and personal with the King of Fruit...the accommodation charges will be Deluxe Villa is charged at RM280/night and standard villa will cost you RM180/night. They only have 1 Deluxe Villa and 2 Standard Villa only. So it is very easy to be fully booked during the durian season. The first time I had my first black pepper Bak Kut Teh was at Sandakan. I never know there is one at Kuala Lumpur. I got to know it from Axian from his TV Programme, "Taste with Jason". The name of the restaurant is Kedai Makan Sek Me Choy. Even they have a space of three shop lots, their seats are still fully occupied. In the past, they were doing mining business. This is their old mining machine which they still keep it very well. Vegetable Rice @RM2.00 - You should try their vegetable which is very tasty. Merlion Park, Singapore

Driving in Singapore is really a pain especially the traffic congestion, parking hunting and speed cameras alert which is seems like everywhere. As for parking, weekdays parking is like vampire sucking all your money out from your wallet when the clock keeps ticking. Not just parking but their ERP toll is sucking the money out of your Autopass card too. However, I have realized that the best days to travel to Singapore is on weekends and especially on Sunday. ERP toll is free on Sundays. Parking rate are cheaper on Sundays and there are places are free parking too. Not much cars and peoples on the street on Sundays. Sunday is just perfect day at Singapore! Of course, if you plan to eat their buffets, Sunday will be not a suitable day as it will be super expensive. Kota Kinabalu doesn't have huge hawker center like you will see in Peninsular Malaysia or Kuching but I have to reckon that the best hawker center in Kota Kinabalu is in Kedai Kopi Lotus. Kedai Kopi Lotus themselves do serve their own food which was very terrible and beyond edible state. So do not eat anything from this restaurant. You just pick the stalls beside this restaurant. There are 4 stalls which I will introduce one by one to you but the only stall which will not be introduced is the stall which is selling Guo Tie ( a kind of dumplings) -  not my favorite. The best and the most popular stall of all is this chicken wing stall. Everyone is there lining up for them either taking away or dining there. You may need to wait for 15-20 minutes for it. At Kota Kinabalu, you may find Sheng Rou noodle is very common and famous among the local especially this Kedai Kopi Jia Siang which has a lot of customers roaming to their restaurant from day to night. Since they have a crowd like this, I have to make my point for it. Complimentary tofu for each ala-carte order. Tsate normal for me because I prefer a hot tofu.
